Contacts+ Is Using ChartMogul To Cut Churn In Half In 2019

Contacts+ is a distributed, 25‑person SaaS company that builds an intelligent address book for professionals. Because customers could pay across four billing systems (Stripe, iOS App Store, Google Play and manual invoices), subscription and customer data were fragmented — platform switches looked like churn and new signups, reactivations went untracked, and the team lacked confidence in MRR and churn reporting. The company set an ambitious goal to cut churn by half in 2019.

Contacts+ used ChartMogul (plus custom API integrations and FullContact Enrich) to import and reconcile billing history across platforms into a customer‑centric view, build segments by payment channel and plan, and run targeted reactivation campaigns (leveraging a 60‑day window on app stores). The result: about one third of monthly churn was found to be recoverable via reactivation, daily visibility into MRR and LTV differences across segments, and substantial progress toward their 50% churn reduction goal.
