Franciscan Health identifies 250+ resiliency gaps with The Chartis Group

Franciscan Health, a Midwestern health system, faced the inevitable challenge of prolonged IT system outages and sought to strengthen its operational continuity during these disruptions. Recognizing that this was an enterprise-wide issue and not just an IT problem, they partnered with The Chartis Group to build enterprise resiliency using the Blackout Blueprint service.

The Chartis Group worked with Franciscan Health to document workflows, develop enterprise policies, and create role-specific resiliency blueprints. These were tested through realistic simulations and reinforced with workshops. The solution equipped over 10 enterprise functions with clear blueprints, identified more than 250 resiliency gaps, and provided over 300 leaders with visibility into system-wide risks, ultimately embedding ongoing resiliency into the organization.
