Munchery is a meal-delivery startup making healthy, chef-prepared weeknight dinners easy to order. As the company scaled, a small engineering team built basic in-house SQL reports, but data lived in silos (MySQL, Google Analytics, Segment, Redshift), dashboards were hard to share, reports were static, and only a few people could create or modify them — creating a bottleneck that prevented company-wide, real-time decision-making.

Munchery adopted Chartio and appointed Jack Yin to centralize analytics and build intuitive, SQL-backed dashboards that unify all data sources. Making dashboards public eliminated gatekeepers, enabled self-service exploration of trends and delivery performance, and freed Jack to do deeper analysis — creating a single, reliable source of truth that accelerated insights and supported growth.
