TFG is a next‑generation mobile gaming company with hundreds of millions of users whose Product and Growth teams lacked a sustainable way to measure and track game metrics. With a small Data Science team, TFG risked creating bottlenecks because Product Managers needed timely, self‑service access to analytics without writing SQL or overloading data engineers.
By implementing Chartio on top of a data stack (S3 → Spark/Hive/Hadoop → Presto, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch), Product Managers gained autonomous, real‑time visibility into engagement, retention and monetization metrics (sessions, retention funnels, ARPU, subscriptions, downloads, etc.). The change enabled faster game calibration (e.g., Sniper 3D funnel analysis), reduced the need for additional analytics hires, improved churn and revenue, and smoothed collaboration between Data Science and Product teams.
