Jama Software, a system-of-record for complex product development used by more than 600 organizations, transitioned from a perpetual-license model to SaaS and needed reliable, real-time insight into new SaaS-centric metrics like Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Their in-house BI (BiForce) had limitations, inconsistent or missing data, and Salesforce reports produced conflicting numbers, making it difficult for leaders to track performance and make informed decisions.
Jama implemented Chartio to centralize data and sync Salesforce via data stores, creating five core dashboards (ARR Projections, Company KPIs, Sales, Demand Generation, and Sales Leaderboard). The executive team now accesses real-time dashboards multiple times a day, enabling accurate ARR forecasting, faster, data-driven decisions, better allocation of Sales and Customer Success resources, reduced churn risk, and a quicker CEO ramp-up.
