United Way-Marshall County - Customer Case Study

United Way-Marshall County, through its Marshall County 2-1-1 First Call for Help program, needed a better way to coordinate emergency assistance among local churches and agencies. In a rural area with many small budgets and growing needs, staff were spending too much time tracking prior aid by phone and risking duplicated or limited support for families facing urgent bills.

Charity Tracker provided an online collaboration and case-management platform that let 2-1-1 staff and 37 community agencies/churches share assistance records, post bulletins, and see client history around the clock. With Charity Tracker, Marshall County reported 7,065 cases and 15,771 assistance records tracking $245,577.23 in aid, while saving staff time, improving decision-making, and helping multiple organizations combine “little budgets” to meet big needs.
