Canary Compliance, a tech startup focused on underground storage tank monitoring, needed to build a secure and scalable hybrid hardware and software solution. Chariot Solutions built a closed cellular IoT system connecting tank gauges to a secure web application, utilizing Amazon Web Services, PostgreSQL, and React. The solution provided gas station owners with instant visibility and reports, replacing a manual, fax-based process. As a result, Canary Compliance launched successfully and rapidly scaled, with plans to be in a thousand stations and capture ten percent of the market by the end of 2017, thanks to the scalable infrastructure designed by Chariot.
