Stevens Creek BMW, the first BMW i Center serving the Bay Area and Northern California, wanted to attract environmentally conscious EV shoppers, educate prospective buyers, and differentiate its dealership with a premium charging experience. The dealership needed a way to build relationships with existing drivers while also drawing in new prospects from other brands, and it chose ChargePoint EV charging to support those goals.

ChargePoint provided a mix of networked Level 2 commercial stations and an Express 100 DC fast charger for public use, inventory charging, and customer test drives. The result was strong engagement: Stevens Creek BMW’s Level 2 stations were used more than 3,100 times in the first year by 354 drivers, while the DC fast charger saw 1,100+ charging sessions in its first six months by 275 drivers. With ChargePoint, the dealership expanded awareness of the BMW i brand, strengthened customer relationships, and drove both new and repeat business.
