LinkedIn Pioneers the Future of Work with ChargePoint EV Charging

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is committed to cutting its carbon footprint and advancing sustainability across its global operations. To help address employee commuting emissions and support a greener workplace, LinkedIn turned to ChargePoint EV charging for its Bay Area campuses.

ChargePoint implemented workplace EV charging across LinkedIn locations, supported by cloud-based sustainability, GHG, and usage reporting to help track impact and encourage behavior change. The program helped LinkedIn grow EV adoption, with a 55% year-over-year increase in drivers, a 38% increase in charging sessions, and 223 charging ports in place; in 2018, the company avoided 413,000 kg of greenhouse gas emissions.
