Easton Increases Shopper Dwell Time with Cutting-Edge Fast Charging Technology

Easton, a leading retail, dining, and entertainment destination in the Columbus, Ohio area, wanted to attract more EV drivers, improve the guest experience, and show a stronger commitment to sustainability. To meet these goals, Easton turned to ChargePoint and its networked EV charging stations and Commercial Plan for remote monitoring and reporting.

ChargePoint installed five charging stations at Easton, including DC fast chargers and Level 2 chargers, giving visitors flexible options for quick stops or longer shopping trips. The result has been strong adoption and engagement: around 350 EV drivers use the stations each month, about 40% of charging drivers stay longer than average, usage continues to rise, and more than 10,000 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions have been prevented.
