Superfoods Company, founded by Dylan Ralston in 2018 to sell an effervescent tablet packed with 15 natural foods, grew rapidly by word-of-mouth to a loyal base of over 200,000 subscribers. That growth exposed scaling challenges: their billing tool couldn’t shift one-time buyers to subscriptions, support experimentation with pricing, add-ons and discounts, or automate payment follow-ups—hindering efforts to increase LTV and AOV.
By adopting Chargebee (integrated with Stripe, PayPal and QuickBooks), the team ran rapid A/B pricing tests, created flexible add-ons and bundles, analyzed cancellation patterns, and automated dunning and subscription pauses. The result: 4x revenue in under a year, expansion from one product to five, higher AOV and improved retention, plus the ability to launch new pricing and product experiments in about 30 minutes.
