Kabo, a Canadian fresh dog food brand serving thousands of pet parents, wanted a flexible way to support custom subscription plans, add-ons, discounts, and analytics across its headless eCommerce stack. To do this, Kabo adopted Chargebee’s subscription management platform so it could keep full control of the customer experience while handling the backend subscription layer.

Using Chargebee’s APIs, product catalog, flexible add-ons, coupon validation, revenue recovery, and subscription analytics, Kabo streamlined billing and upsells without adding complexity. The results were strong: recurring customer AOV rose from $80 to $100, a 25% increase, and Kabo also reported a top-tier NPS of 82 while saving significant developer time and operational effort.
