Doodle, the Swiss scheduling platform used by millions (about 30M monthly active users), moved from a monolithic, ad-focused app to a subscription-first microservices strategy to better serve busy professionals. Their in-house billing system required heavy development effort for every new use case and lacked the internationalization and flexibility needed to scale.

To solve this, Doodle implemented Chargebee—chosen for Stripe support, multilingual pricing, full APIs and flexible tiered plans—and migrated roughly 39K customers and 75K+ subscriptions. The integration enabled tiered pricing, multi-language and multi-currency support, coupon-driven customer acquisition, and automated billing and reporting, allowing Doodle to scale globally and accelerate its subscription growth.
