Staples EMEA, an international commerce organization, was undergoing a digital change and needed to build a business case for marketing automation. Their challenge was navigating a complex international matrix structure with varied sales departments, dozens of disparate websites, and different country-specific ERP systems, all while identifying a solution that could be managed by their existing workforce without new hires.
As a sub-contractor, Chapman Bright conducted weeks of in-depth interviews with international stakeholders to map the IT landscape and define a roadmap. The resulting business case, which included high-value use cases, was approved by the investor board. With support from Chapman Bright, the Marketo platform was selected as it met all technical and organizational requirements.
