Municipality of Sipoo partnered with CHAOS to engage citizens in the development of a new Central Park in the Nikkilä area. The municipality’s challenge was to involve residents in decision-making, improve the area’s livability and attractiveness, and plan a more sustainable municipality based on citizens’ needs.

Using CHAOS Essentials™ and the CHAOS Crowd engagement app, Sipoo collected ideas through workshops and digital participation, including surveys and voting. Over two weeks, 400 ideas were gathered and residents helped decide how to allocate a €50,000 participatory budget, resulting in a park plan shaped by real user input.
