Gateway to Science brings Trees Against the Wind to life with Chaos Theory Games for 8–10 players

The customer Gateway to Science, a hands-on science center, partnered with the vendor Chaos Theory Games to create an educational and fun interactive exhibit. Their challenge was to teach children how trees can be used to mitigate the effects of wind on North Dakotan farmland.

Chaos Theory developed "Trees Against the Wind," an interactive sandbox game that allows up to ten players to collaboratively design and position virtual windbreaks using real native flora. The solution successfully met its STEM learning goals and is now a live exhibit at Gateway to Science, where it rewards player experimentation with an accurate wind simulation.
