Central Coast Council launches Working with Water in 2020 with Chaos Theory Games

The Central Coast Council faced the challenge of educating its community about sustainable water management, especially after COVID-19 restrictions halted their in-person training program. They partnered with vendor Chaos Theory Games to create an engaging digital platform to replace it as part of their Love Water campaign.

Chaos Theory Games developed "Working with Water," a turn-based strategy web game that simulates building and maintaining a water supply system. The solution provided instant feedback on player performance and used a realistic local map to increase awareness. The game was recognized as a "Game of the Week" by Games for Change and successfully increased community awareness about water management and council services, leading to a very happy client for Chaos Theory Games.
