HTC Uses Exclusive Community to Harness Brand Engagement

HTC, facing the challenge of sustaining passionate customer engagement and creating an "always-on" channel to answer brand questions, test product and service hypotheses, gather user-generated content, and run beta tests, partnered with Chaordix to build an invite-only community. Working with Chaordix, HTC launched the HTC Elevate community to bring fans together, give them exclusive access, and surface authentic feedback and ideas.

Chaordix implemented the HTC Elevate platform, resulting in a community of over 3,000 highly engaged members across 100+ countries and more than one million contributions of discussions, ideas, images and videos. The community enabled regular product feedback, beta tests, face-to-face meetups, and crowdsourced marketing content, helped spur word-of-mouth advocacy, and led HTC to expand into two additional communities (HTC Champions and Team HTC).
