How Nelson Shoes expanded internationally without much hassle

Nelson Shoes, a longstanding Dutch footwear retailer with more than 100 stores and growing online sales, wanted to expand revenue sources in 2019 and needed flexible integration software to support that growth. The company faced operational pressures around dynamic price and returns monitoring and required automated, search-optimized marketplace content (titles, descriptions, images). To address these needs Nelson Shoes partnered with ChannelEngine and its multi-channel integration platform.

ChannelEngine provided centralized multi-channel management, competitor monitoring, product bundling support and automation that enabled scalable marketplace listings and pricing. As a result, Nelson Shoes added many new channels (Bol.com NL and BE, Kleertjes.com) and became the first Dutch multi-brand retailer to join Zalando’s Partner Program through ChannelEngine; the majority of their assortment now sells via Zalando in the Netherlands, and they are expanding digitally into Belgium and Germany, with significant and continuing revenue growth.
