Baart Industrial Group, a Houston-based manufacturer of high-performance industrial components, wanted to grow its B2B eCommerce business by offering customers an easy way to find products, see pricing and inventory, and place orders without contacting sales. To meet those expectations and handle complex shipping rules, it partnered with Channel Software Corporation and its CSX eCommerce platform, integrated with Infor Distribution SX v.11 on-premise using ION APIs.
Channel Software Corporation delivered a fully integrated, responsive eCommerce site with custom shipping logic, expanded search and PIM capabilities, automated tracking number handling, and checkout options for shipping dates and partial orders. The site went live in late 2021 and quickly exceeded expectations, nearly reaching the company’s overall sales goal during beta testing and then surpassing projected dollar volume, all without adding sales staff.
