Schweizer Electronic AG, a family-rooted technology leader and the third-largest printed circuit board producer in Europe (about 770 employees, €120.1M sales in 2017), faced a project-management challenge: a project-driven business with customized PCBs and parallel IT/process initiatives was managed with disparate, Excel-based tools. This led to poor portfolio visibility, inconsistent processes, and inadequate coordination from management, creating a need for unified planning and better oversight.
