ABSL Power Solutions, a designer and manufacturer of high‑performance lithium‑ion power systems for defense, space, aerospace and industrial markets, needed to expand from a UK‑centric customer base into the U.S. within a year. Its existing MRP and finance tools were cumbersome, limited to few users and couldn’t provide the hosted, role‑based, collaborative environment or resource control the company required for scalable project management.

ABSL adopted Daptiv PPM by Changepoint, piloting a small set of Dynamic Applications and then rolling out tailored functionality to different groups. The solution is now used across multiple teams (including U.S. Integration Management, New Product Production, finance, HR and manufacturing), with about 15–20 Dynamic Applications developed. As a result ABSL reduced project administration time, gained better visibility into resources and projects, and increased productivity by roughly 30%.
