Hersheypark, the 110-acre amusement park and entertainment complex, struggled with an aging in-house maintenance system that relied on manual paper work orders, lacked preventive maintenance, and made it difficult to track labor, materials, and purchasing. After evaluating vendors, Hersheypark chose CHAMPS Software, Inc. and its CHAMPS CMMS/EAM platform to replace those inefficient processes.

CHAMPS Software, Inc. implemented a web-based CMMS/EAM solution with Web Work Order, preventive maintenance, asset management, materials management, and an interface to Hersheypark’s financial system. The result was more proactive asset care, faster on-demand work requests, better control of 180 buildings and structures, and streamlined cost tracking and purchasing, with no show-stopping issues at go-live and improved reporting and operational efficiency.
