Robinson implemented a managed transportation program that coordinates local carriers and warehouses, provides daily LTL pickup and drop‑trailer options, consolidates small loads into economical full truckloads, and schedules shipments for immediate redistribution. The solution enabled Harvest Time International to accept donations ranging from a few pallets to multiple truckloads with minimal lead time, drove a 40.5% increase in donations in Q1 2010 versus Q1 2009, lowered donor handling and disposal costs, and expanded the charity’s capacity to secure new partners.
