Dorman Products, a global supplier of automotive replacement parts with roughly 133,000 SKUs, had outgrown its accounts receivable processes by 2008. Five separate ERP instances (three of which were managed largely in Excel) created multi-currency, multiple-terms and reporting complexities; credit, collections and deduction management were driven by manual spreadsheets and nightly, partial data syncs, producing slow, non–real-time financial reporting.

Cforia implemented near–real-time integration across all ERP instances, introduced automated AR workflows and a “clean vs. dirty” receivables tracking that prioritized deductions and disputes, and provided real-time collection and deduction reporting. The solution reduced >30‑day past‑due receivables by 11%, supported average annual revenue growth of 13% (2008–2012), grew receivables from $88M to $154M with no added staff, improved cash forecasting and customer service, and smoothed Dorman’s migration to a single SAP instance.
