Cytec Engineered Materials, a supplier of advanced materials for aerospace and industrial clients, opened a Global Shared Services Center in Riga, Latvia to centralize accounts receivable. The company faced the complexity of operating across at least five different ERP systems, multiple currencies and languages, and the need to quickly train newly hired collectors with little or no credit experience.

They implemented Cforia’s A/R Workbench to integrate the five ERPs, support multi‑currency/multi‑language operations, consolidate customer hierarchies, and automate deductions and cash forecasting. The solution allowed new Latvia staff to be trained in about six weeks and match the productivity of seasoned collectors, kept the project on-time and within the original fixed bid, and delivered improved A/R metrics, faster dispute resolution and reduced training and operating costs.
