Citizen Watch, a global watchmaker founded in 1918 and the world’s largest watchmaker since 1986, faced operational problems in accounts receivable: separate point solutions for credit/collections and deductions were synced to its ERP by nightly batch updates, which left the A/R team working from outdated data and created support gaps across multiple vendors.

Cforia installed a real-time data connector into Citizen’s custom DB2 AS/400 ERP in six weeks, replacing the legacy systems and consolidating order hold/release, credit and collections, and deductions management on one platform. The solution improved handling of large retail deductions, enabled real-time order release and email/fax integration, centralized support, and eliminated the delays and failures caused by nightly batch updates.
