Slow catalog data delivery, frequent inventory and pricing changes, and multiple real-time database calls were causing delayed recommendations, slower page load times, and less relevant product suggestions.
Certona implemented an API integration that ingested product metadata multiple times per day and reduced post-processing calls to MotoSport’s databases. This improved data freshness, made recommendations render instantly, and allowed MotoSport to move them above the fold. As a result, MotoSport saw a 42% increase in responder conversion, a 20% increase in responder average order value, and a 16% increase in responder items per order.
