Packaging Group, a £1.1bn global fresh-food packaging business with 9,000 employees across 90 locations, faced a complex IT estate after growth by acquisition: multiple Active Directory domains and forests, NetWare and legacy NT4 systems, low-bandwidth site-to-site VPNs, mixed IP addressing, no global name resolution, multiple firewalls and multi-language software. To tackle these challenges they engaged Certero and deployed Certero for Enterprise SAM to centralize and standardize asset and license management.
