International Drinks Manufacturer, one of the world’s largest drinks producers with more than 200 brands, nearly 6,000 employees and sales in over 160 countries, faced a looming Microsoft Enterprise Agreement renewal covering more than 7,500 devices. The customer needed a comprehensive inventory and compliance view — including server estates not covered by its existing SCCM desktop inventory — and required a solution that would integrate with SCCM and handle hosted, outsourced and virtualised environments. They selected Certero and the Certero for Enterprise SAM product to address this challenge.

Certero implemented Certero for Enterprise SAM after a successful POC, deploying agent-less collectors, SCCM connectors and network discovery to reconcile data with Active Directory and existing SCCM records. The solution delivered a full hardware and software inventory and an automated Effective License Position (ELP), giving clear visibility of Microsoft licensing and compliance against the Microsoft baseline review.
