The Hospital Trust, one of the largest acute trusts in the UK with a £1.1 billion budget and over 17,000 staff, faced pressure to cut costs and meet Carbon Reduction Commitment targets after an estate-wide energy study found IT accounted for a large share of electricity use—40% of which was PC-related across more than 10,000 devices.
