Automotive Group, one of the largest privately owned automotive groups in the UK with annual turnover over £2.1bn and an IT estate spanning 52 dealerships, faced rapidly outdated device records and slow tech support processes after outgrowing an Access database. To gain better governance and visibility of their hardware, the organisation selected Certero and deployed Certero for Enterprise ITAM.

Certero implemented automated discovery, a single data source and a common UI (later extending the estate with Certero for Mobile) to deliver a single‑pane view of all hardware across the business.
