The City of Sindelfingen, a business hub of over 60,000 residents in the Böblingen district, needed to make its project work more flexible, efficient and transparent in line with New Public Management principles. Public administration required better adaptability to changing conditions and higher efficiency in multi-project delivery, while providing clearer oversight for all stakeholders.

Sindelfingen selected Genius Project for its rich feature set, multi-project management capabilities and Lotus Notes integration. After a successful 2009 pilot, rollout is underway and more strategic projects are being migrated in 2010, with the city expecting improved control, transparency and efficiency across its project portfolio.
