Case Study: Delos (wellness real estate leader) achieves WELL, LEED Platinum & Living Building Challenge certifications with Ceros

A Ceros Case Study

Preview of the Delos Case Study

A pioneer of Wellness Real Estate, Delos sought to innovate its corporate space to walk the talk as a model workplace to support occupant wellbeing through design and use of sustainable and healthy products

Delos is a real estate and technology company that pioneers healthy indoor environments—having helped develop the WELL Building Standard—whose 19,000 sq ft flagship office in Manhattan was designed as a living showcase of wellness-focused design. The challenge was to align multiple stringent green building standards and healthy-material requirements while creating an attractive, functional workplace that supports circadian health, air quality and resource conservation.

Delos partnered with Superior Essex for Red List–free, fully documented cabling (Declare labels, EPDs and HPDs) and deployed plant walls, a glass curtain wall, reclaimed materials, environmental sensors and intelligent lighting to reduce pollutants and support circadian rhythms. The integrated solution, backed by contractor training and rigorous testing, earned WELL Platinum and the Living Building Challenge Materials Petal certifications, positioned the space as a client-facing wellness model, and set Delos on track for LEED Platinum.
