BTC Bahamas, the Bahamas Telecommunications Company, is the incumbent telecom operator across 78 islands and needed to modernize its business support systems. Facing deregulation and the launch of new 4G and fibre services, BTC Bahamas chose Cerillion’s convergent CRM and billing solution to replace multiple legacy systems and bring fixed and mobile services onto one platform.
Cerillion implemented the migration in two phases, covering fixed line first and then mobile, delivering an integrated customer, order, and line plant management environment. As a result, BTC Bahamas gained a single view of the customer, online self-service through EZPayPlus, and faster service fulfilment; the rollout supported major growth, including an 800% increase in mobile data consumption, while enabling new 4G and next-generation fibre services.
