TotalEnergies, one of the world’s largest energy companies, needed more compute power for its AI, simulation, and multi-energy research efforts. To support this work, TotalEnergies selected Cerebras and its CS-2 system to accelerate research and benchmarking tasks.
Cerebras implemented the CS-2 for TotalEnergies and delivered major performance gains, including a reported 200x speedup versus GPUs on key benchmarks and stencil code. The result was faster research with no memory bottleneck and quicker system bring-up, giving TotalEnergies a stronger platform for advancing its energy and emissions goals.
