You Can Finance, a financial firm in Australia, needed to migrate its Salesforce implementation to a new org and new edition without losing any customizations or permissions. With no relationship between the orgs and around 300 business documents that had to be generated instantly from fresh Salesforce data and then signed or emailed, the company needed a reliable cross-org, cross-edition migration approach.

CEPTES Software implemented the migration using Ant, Eclipse Force.com IDE, and scripting tools to adjust XML dependencies, while also using Conga to generate documents directly from Salesforce data with a click. CEPTES Software’s deployment strategy ensured the new org worked like the source org, and the result was a successful migration with all customizations preserved and the system functioning properly in the new environment.
