Covidi, a Texas-based technology company helping small and medium businesses optimize Salesforce, needed a way to support one of its leading partners with a vehicle service contract management application. The challenge was to manage claims, repair requests, protection program sign-ups, and service appointment scheduling across web, email, phone, and a drag-and-drop calendar, while also migrating legacy service contracts and paperwork to the cloud.
CEPTES Software built a custom Salesforce Force.com solution for Covidi covering service contracts, claims, repairs, assignments, and appointments, with workflows, notifications, approvals, and customer and provider communities. The platform let customers view appointments, submit claims, track repairs, and access coverage details, while insurance providers used centralized communities to manage contracts and requests. Results included a streamlined application process, real-time mobile updates for customers, and a smoother centralized system for insurance providers, though no specific quantitative metrics were provided.
