Case Study: Sparta Systems achieves seamless cloud data migration with CEPTES Software and Informatica

System to maintain continuity of complaint management, medical event reporting, and related processes

Sparta Systems, a U.S.-based healthcare quality management software provider, needed to move from an existing IT environment to a cloud-based application while preserving all current functionality and migrating highly sensitive legacy data. Working with CEPTES Software, the company also needed to handle schema and entity alignment, workflow history, audit trail data, delta-load configuration, data transformation, and file imports, using Informatica for the migration effort.

CEPTES Software partnered with Sparta Systems and Informatica to plan and execute the migration, address data type and data quality issues, and ensure workflow history and audit trail records were imported correctly, along with created and last-modified dates and secure record ownership in Salesforce. The result was a successful production migration that took one week to load multiple entities, and CEPTES Software helped migrate 100GB of legacy data plus audit trail data into the new cloud system.
