Complete Email Solution for a Custom Record inside Salesforce

Storm Solutions, an auto hail repair company, needed a better way to manage the many emails exchanged with estimate and insurance companies. Because its Vehicle Object is a custom Salesforce object, the team struggled with Salesforce’s out-of-the-box email features and had to keep switching between Salesforce and mailboxes. CEPTES Software provided an Email Service-based solution to capture all related email threads, replies, and attachments directly in Salesforce.

CEPTES Software implemented Salesforce Email Services with a custom Apex inbound email handler linked to an auto-generated Salesforce email address. This allowed incoming emails to be parsed and stored on the Vehicle Object, while also enabling users to reply from within Salesforce. The result was full email thread visibility with attachments captured in Salesforce, saving users significant time and helping them work more efficiently to generate more leads and revenue.
