A CenturyLink Case Study
Landmark Implement, a leading John Deere dealer formed from multiple mergers, operates across Nebraska and Kansas with 18 locations and about 450 users. Rapid growth through acquisitions left the company with fragmented vendors, inconsistent transport types and poor rural connectivity, creating a need for a unified IT strategy to support sales, field service and tighter collaboration with John Deere.
Working with CenturyLink, Landmark built an MPLS backbone, migrated phones to hosted VoIP, moved its core data center to colocation and adopted cloud-hosted mobile apps. The changes delivered roughly $70,000 in annual phone savings, higher bandwidth and reliability (enabling 24/7 service), closer integration with John Deere applications, and paved the way for SD‑WAN and unified communications deployments.
