Case Study: Bryn Deri Primary School achieves energy savings and lower CO2 emissions with Centrica Business Solutions

Young generation goes green

Bryn Deri Primary School worked with Centrica Business Solutions as part of the Generation Green programme to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and give pupils a visible example of sustainability in action. The school needed an energy-saving upgrade that would support learning while cutting waste and emissions.

Centrica Business Solutions carried out a site assessment, designed a tailored technical proposal and delivered turnkey installation support, including energy-efficient boilers, LED lighting, photovoltaic cells, new windows, meters and digital display screens. As a result, Bryn Deri Primary School became a more efficient place to learn, while the wider Generation Green programme engaged more than 400,000 pupils and helped save over 13,000 tonnes of CO2 across 50 schools.
