Centrica Business Solutions worked with a UK Supermarket Retailing Company to reduce energy costs, improve resilience, and support carbon reduction across its retail stores. The customer needed a more efficient way to provide power, heat, and hot water while also helping meet environmental and business goals, using Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems.

Centrica Business Solutions implemented tailored ENER-G CHP solutions across 59 sites, with bespoke designs and maintenance contracts for each location. The rollout delivered approximately £1.28 million in annual energy savings, reduced CO2 emissions by 8,100 tonnes per year, and provided average savings of £24,000 per store per year after maintenance costs, with some sites achieving ROI within three years.
