Newcastle United cuts CO2 emissions by 390 tonnes with Centrica Business Solutions

Newcastle United sought to further reduce their carbon emissions beyond their existing sustainability measures. They partnered with Centrica Business Solutions to implement a permanent, cost-effective solution, which was identified as a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit.

Centrica Business Solutions installed a smart CHP system that generates electricity while recovering heat for the stadium's heating and hot water. This solution, provided with no capital outlay, now helps the club reduce its annual CO2 emissions by 390 tonnes.
