Moy Park, a leading food company, sought to improve energy efficiency and work towards its target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. To address this challenge, the company partnered with Centrica Business Solutions for the installation of a new combined heat and power (CHP) plant at its Craigavon facility.

Centrica Business Solutions implemented a state-of-the-art CHP unit that uses natural gas to generate electricity and hot water, with exhaust gases also recovered to provide steam. This solution makes the facility's energy production over twice as efficient as conventional power sources. The project delivers substantial energy savings for Moy Park and represents a significant milestone on its journey to net zero.
