Moog Inc cuts 175 tonnes of annual CO2 with Centrica Business Solutions

The aerospace and defense manufacturer Moog Inc. sought to accelerate its decarbonization journey and reduce operational emissions at its Wolverhampton site. To achieve this without upfront costs, it partnered with Centrica Business Solutions to implement a solar energy solution.

Centrica Business Solutions financed and installed a 1 MW solar array on Moog's roof under a Power Purchase Agreement. This solution provides the site with 800 MWh of renewable energy annually, meeting 10% of its electricity needs and reducing its operational CO2 emissions by 175 tonnes per year.
