Moog cuts CO2 by 50% by 2032 with Centrica Business Solutions

Moog, a global engineering company, needed to decarbonize its operations and demonstrate its sustainability credentials to meet growing ESG demands from its customers. They partnered with Centrica Business Solutions and utilized their Net Zero Pathway Advisory Services to roadmap their journey to net zero.

Centrica Business Solutions conducted audits across five sites and provided a detailed decarbonization pathway. This included recommending technologies like solar PV and outlining investment requirements. As an initial implementation, Centrica installed a 2,200-panel solar array at a Moog plant, which generates 800 MWh of renewable energy annually and reduces CO2 emissions by 175 tonnes. The project was financed with no upfront cost to Moog through a Power Purchase Agreement.
