Generation Green saves 13,000 tonnes of CO2 with Centrica Business Solutions

The customer, Generation Green, is an educational program that faced the challenge of engaging young people in energy conservation while also helping schools cut operating costs and reduce their carbon footprint. They partnered with Centrica Business Solutions to provide energy efficiency projects as prizes for a national competition.

Centrica Business Solutions conducted site assessments and implemented turnkey energy efficiency solutions across 50 winning schools. The work included installing technologies like LED lighting, photovoltaic cells, and new boilers. As a result of this solution provided by Centrica Business Solutions, the projects saved over 13,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. The program also successfully engaged over 400,000 pupils and 21,000 teachers nationwide.
