BioMar aims to cut carbon footprint per tonne of feed by 33% with Centrica Business Solutions

BioMar, a global aquaculture feed producer, sought to achieve a Net Zero target for its own emissions across its 17 global sites. Centrica Business Solutions developed a science-based blueprint for Net Zero, starting with a detailed analysis of BioMar's Grangemouth site. The vendor outlined multiple technology pathways and their financial implications, enabling BioMar to set a formal target aligned with the 1.5°C standard. As a result, BioMar committed to reducing its carbon footprint per tonne of feed by 33% by 2030 and gained the clarity and confidence to make validated investments toward its long-term Net Zero goal.
