CamelBak, the leading maker of wearable hydration systems and drinkware, was struggling with rising product complexity: multiple overlapping seasons, hundreds of styles and thousands of SKUs managed across sites and suppliers. Critical design and development work lived in disconnected spreadsheets, creating bottlenecks, “tribal” knowledge, limited compliance traceability and slow time-to-market.

CamelBak implemented Centric PLM and moved planning, BOMs, material data and compliance documentation online in just 12 weeks, onboarding internal teams and suppliers. The centralized system enabled seamless collaboration, automated costing and better audit readiness—today about 800 styles (2,000 SKUs) and a 3,000-item material library are managed in PLM, driving faster seasonal planning, greater visibility and improved product development efficiency.
